Thank you! I enjoy doing this kind of work; it must be my mother coming out in me – you wouldn’t believe what she could do with construction paper, scissors, and library paste. It feels good to see a picture, too.

Oh! I see she’s Lana’s friend… Will there be a lot of Lana in this story, too?

In Burnt, Medb (whom we met in Chapter 7 of Firebrands) has grown up, and the epicycles of her life draw her back into Lana’s orbit in surprising ways. But for all that she’s got a few sobering years of experience under her belt, Medb is still Medb…. Lana (and Dillon) are now secondary characters, playing supporting-actor roles in some of Medb’s adventures.
